I have just started shooting their 200 gr SWC in my Wilson custom M1911. They are the most accurate bullet I have shot and I have tried many. I load 'em pretty soft--5.5 gr Win 231.

Please come up with more creative assignments like this. Who knows? Maybe you can collect them into a workbook, publish it and sell thousands to the schools with the title, "Overcoming Paranoia of the Faculty/Staff for Firearms."
Not for the students. For the Faculty/Staff...
I go with the "too much pressure" idea from Snuffy.
I have loaded well over 5000 rounds of 5 different pistol calibers on mine with zero problems, including no problem with the "so-called" cheap, plastic ratchet gear that causes the indexing.
This thing will out last me by many moons.
Humidity my foot. Winchester rep was dancing around the issue. I live in Southern California and relative humidity here is usually below 50%; on most days less than that.
I also use only Winchester primers.
Not use automatice priming devices?? How do they load at the factory? 10000 elves...
CCI has verified it--Lead Styphnate. Hard to ignore the visual evidence gentlemen.
It is very hard to ignore the visual evidence. How about a response from the technical staff at CCI--?? The question was posed to

Lee Classic Turret is a better Solution
I would stick with the Classic Turret Press recommendation for two solid reasons.
1. You can load 200+ rounds per hour with the Classic Turret and not have to worry about the somewhat balky priming system of the Pro1000.
2. You only have three holes...
You can doubt all you want==open up a Win Large Pistol primer and the yellow dust you see is identical to the stuff we see. BTW, did you note above the post re: Remington Primers also yielding this stuff?
This has happened in 4 different geographical locations in the US with Win, CCI and...
I agree totally with RustyFN.
Do not get the old style turret press; get the Classic Turret at Kempf's shop. Call 'em and let Sue Kempf guide you through the process. She will not try to sell you something you don't need; will also ship it as cheaply as she can. I recommend them highly.
Well, if it's BS where does it come from? And how come it tests for lead concentration with a D-Lead test kit?
I have seen this for over a year, since I started loading with a Load Master. I also see it when I crush a primer. You figure it out. It sure isn't moon dust!
We all need to be careful with primers, always!
darwin, it is probably lead styphanate; it leaks from the primers when they are jostled. Here is some information about it.
If you have ever accidentally crushed a primer during relaoding the yellow stuff spills out all over the place.
