Some of the Ruger LCR and LCRx .22 LR are out and about. I spotted a couple on gunbroker and actually found the 3” LCRx .22LR at a gun show today for $540 out the door. It was shipped in 2022 according to Ruger serial tracking. So maybe there is a batch that just went out?

5 to 8 yards on paper produced nice fist to cantaloupe size patterns for us. The Federal is the only .410 round I’d trust to be sufficient out of one of these Judges and only for close range, the other .410 SD rounds aren’t much IMO from the ballistics I’ve seen. Also anything beyond 8 yards...

Wifeys preferred choice is full size Judge with Federal 000 buckshot loads. At home defense distances they will do the trick.

I’ve owned quite a few revolvers over the years but never a .44 mag. I may have to fix that.
