Not unethical. Depending on distance and load. It could equal many high power cartridges. Including a 40 yard shot would equal a 400 yard shot with a 45-70. Honestly only thing unethical here is your knowledge of ballistics.
I do both. Hi-tek coating instead of pc. The pc or Hi-tek are better almost all the way around. The only thing I lube anymore is 45 colt with pan lube. Dunno why other than old school vibes.
this.
lead at the beginning is fitment and obituation.
leading at the end is a lube issue.
also 18BHN is to hard for any pistol bullet short of 454 casull pressures.
I have no idea why bullet manufactures do this.
i run 16BHN bullets coated with Hitek at 2400FPS in a 7.62 rifle. any harder...
no 45 super is going to cause injury. Its still less than a proof load for standard 45acp. it will accelerate ware. that is all.
they are identical between the 10mm and 45 super for most all comparisons.
They make a special lube for this already. Its expensive.
Read a few things that it smells and feels similar to wd40 only its tinted red. This is a must I guess after a sonic cleaning to prevent rust in areas you cannot get too.
For price reference a gallon of the hornady or lyman cant...
I was wonder if anyone Uses WD-40 after cleaning a gun? Just to displace the water.
My idea is to clean the gun. Then WD-40 the gun in the ultrasonic cleaner. Let dry then lube with normal type gun oil as usual.
Mag primer. Find a powder that fills the case more. Tighter crimp. I run a 158gr. +p at 1004 fps out of a 2.5" revolver. And 946 fps out of a 2".
The only way to get single digit sd #'s it to up the pressure or go with 3f black powder.
You would be surprised at the black powder consistency...
