    ROA - 18 cylinders, almost no cleaning

    Ditto on the firing all day (35 grains 3FFF powder and ball) without cleaning. Never once had any stoppage or negative issues. Damn how I love this revolver!

    I concur with jimmyray... I never see it used for anything other than original purpose, and never as an aerosol spray. Much too expensive to waste on a ball lube/sealant. Unless you found a large tub/bucket of the stuff for free, I'd pass on the use for a ball sealant. The auto parts people...

    What can happen to really old black powder?

    Hawkeye, I have shot BP .38 cartridges that were hand loaded over 40 years ago without any issues. Just try a few and you will see if they are OK or not.
