    What's Your Favorite J Frame??

When the 360 M&P 357 scandy J frame come out I just had to have one. I've had it for several years now and I still haven't shot any 357s out of it. If I could do it over again I'd get the 442 moon clip model and save about 250 bucks. So I did the next best thing--I sent the cylinder to Pinnacle...

    Sig 220 Carry

Thanks for the replies, I agree with the majority, the SAS Carry. I think it is a "good looker" too. It reminds me of the Smith M19 snub...everything you need and nothing you don't.

    Sig 220 Carry

I'm going to buy a Sig 220 Carry for CC. I narrowed it down to two, either the 220 SAS Generation II Nitron or the 220 Equinox. I just can't decide which one, I'm 51% for the SAS, it looks "ALL business" and I like the idea of "no rail". Then I look at the EQ, WOW, what a good looking gun, then...

    S&W 317 22lr-easy trigger pull

Oldfool, yes, that's what intrigued me about the M317, the whole gun is aluminum, like 9.7 oz. I chose the 1 7/8 in. barrel because I always liked the old M34. The M317 being an air weight and an eight shot, it's a "step up." I only shoot this gun between 20 and 30 feet, at paper or a can. I was...

    S&W 317 22lr-easy trigger pull

Sox, I trimmed off 2 loops, reassembled, the trigger returned just as strong as if I didn't cut any loops; I went back and trimmed one more loop 0ff. What makes this work is the Mobil One Synthetic Grease..... I think your cylinder swelled a little from using those hot loads...remember it's...

    S&W 317 22lr-easy trigger pull

I've been reading several posts on "how stiff the trigger is" on these air weight 22s; I bought the snub, the trigger was STIFF, I'll tell you what I did to mine.... I took the gun apart, I wiped off each piece, I cleaned the inside of the frame also, I polished the bottom and left side of the...

    Buddy wants an inexpensive 9mm

Hands down, the best deal you can find is a used Ruger P95; high quality, tuff as nails, very dependable shooter. They go for about $225 at gun shows or gun shops. The next step would be a SR9 for about $400. Yeah ok, I like Rugers. :)

    Recent experience with Kahr P45?

Mud, instead of MoS get a can of Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease, it makes it feel like the insides are running on ball barrings. I use it in my revolvers too. :)

How to load a Glock mag to full capacity-NOW

Dusty, I'm sorry your having this problem, when you bumped the bottom of the mag, did you feel the spring recoil at all? Try 2 rounds and bump the bottom of the mag, then put 2 more rounds in and bump it again, then see if it will accept the last 2. You need to bump the bottom of the mag hard...

How to load a Glock mag to full capacity-NOW

This is the reason I made this post. Load the mag 2/3s full, strike the bottom of the mag on the palm of your other hand, and the mag will load to capacity for ever and ever, no waiting, no breaking in. It will load up NOW. :banghead:

How to load a Glock mag to full capacity-NOW

I'm saying, If you shift the spring in your mag that one time the mag will accept all rounds to capacity without fighting to get that last round in and the mag will insert in the gun a lot easier too. I didn't say SLAM the mag down, you can strike the mag to the palm of your other hand and the...

How to load a Glock mag to full capacity-NOW

I learned this trick a while back and I thought I would share. This works on brand new mags too. Load your mag 2/3s full, hold the mag in your fist, strike the bottom of the mag on a flat hard surface, just hard enough to feel the spring flex a bit--believe it or not the mag will load to...

    Gun Grease

I would recommend Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease, I've tried it on my autos and was quite happy with the actions. I tried it on my 3 S&Ws, a 396ng a M19 and a 360 M&P, I couldn't believe the difference in the actions, it's as if all the parts were moving on ball barrings, it eliminated ALL friction...

My choice is the Glock 30 for summer carry and the Glock 21 for winter carry--- they both fit my large hand well, I like their balance too.
