I have a Browning Low Wall in .22 hornet. I don't reload. I mainly buy Sellier & Bellot or Privi Partizan soft point ammo, which I bought a lot of prior to THE BIG AMMO SCARE OF 2008. I certainly have more accurate centerfire rifles, but it's one that I'd never get rid of. My gunsmith goes...
I make ones kind of like this one:

The main difference is that I make mine in three parts, the two sides and the middle, and they bolt together. 1"X2" firring strips fit into the...
Of the gun shops around here, one charges a flat $50, the other is $40, unless it's an item they carry, then they won't do the transfer at all.
I used the link listed above years ago and found two guys within 5 minutes of my house. One charges me $20 (but doesn't transfer pistols) and the...
For the three that I've owned, I tend to try different ammo more from the aspect of how it cycles the rifle. Here's kind of my experience with regard to that:
Japanese ATD - very ammo picky, would only cycle one or two brands of HV ammo, liked CCI mini mags the best.
Mid 60's Belgian ATD...
As Longrifles said, get a used, real mill. I have a HUGE buffalo drill press, it's actually 8' tall. I bought it from a used machinery place for $350. It's sweet. I also just bought a 1960' vintage metal cutting vertical bandsaw with a 24" throat for $500.
Look on the practical...
I can't stand this! This is killing me! Gunbroker is down! It's my favorite web-site!
Actually, I'm a bit worried. I had a gun for sale on there, and the auction was ending about 6:30 EDT yesterday evening. I got the notice that the gun had sold last night. I looked, and the guy that...
Another good place is Natchez Shooter's Supplies:
http://www.natchezss.com/
If they are out of a particular brand and caliber of ammo you can sign up for an e-mail alert for when they get it in stock again. These days you want to make sure and place your order soon after you get the...
Hmmmmmm, I have a P99. Great pistol. Never, ever, had any problems with FTFs or FTEs. Is it accurate? Not really. This is in comparison to my Browning HP which is really accurate. One oddity though, we bought one of those bulk packs of 9mm reloads from Dick's Sporting goods. With name...
I think the barrel is the weak point on them, too darn thin. Ours would start out shooting fine, but as the barrel warmed up, the shots would move to the right. It cycled just fine, and never had any FTFs or FTEs, no matter what ammo we put in it. We thought about having another barrel put on...
Has anyone had any experience with the Ultramax ammo in .357 magnum? Specifically, I'd be shooting it in a Ruger GP-100.
I've tried it in 9mm and 45 ACP. It always cycles well, 100% of the time, but it doesn't seem to be as accurate as new ammo for some reason.
I bought a new Stag model 4 about 8 months ago. Man, I love it. I've never had a single problem with it, and I can put 7 out of 10 rounds in an 8" circle at 100 yards with the open sights and freehand (non benchrest). My 20 year old son can put 9 out of 10 rounds in the 8" circle. We've...
