A friend sent me these photos in hopes I can identify the maker of this assisted-opening knife he found. I'm not all that familar with folders & am casting myself on the mercy of THR's accumulated wisdom. He says this knife is about 7 inches long when open.

To get back to the 1933 Kong, were the sailors carrying Krags? Hard to tell even from the cleaned up DVD print.

I seem to remember seeing new 225Q's in the Brigade Q'Master catalog within the last couple of years. Don't think they are in the latest catalog I have. Does anyone know of a knife maker that could rehandle a 225Q in micarta?

I've been going to Top Gun since I hit town in Feb. All experiences have been pleasant so far. I'll have to try the outdoor range ASAP. I've got some rifles I've never shot. The horror, the horror. ;)

There is a very similar rag called "The Pitch" in KC. Neither would do for the bottom of a bird-cage.

You could carry a Desert Eagle under those robes & not have to worry about printing. :)

A quick scan of the list showed several ammunition plants being closed. Don't we need lots of bullets these days? I seem to recall that only one plant was making 5.56mm for the US military. Is that correct?
