    High End Revolver suggestions?

I have many Korth revolvers. I also have S&W Registered Magnums, a Target Triple Lock, First Generation Colt SAAs, and just about every vintage of Pythons. Yes, the Korth is made of far better steel and fitted with far greater precision than Colt was back in its prime. Consider acquiring...

    High quality 9mm?

U.S. prices run upward of $2000. Sphinx attended the last two SHOT Shows, but never got around to importing their guns. I think Edgar Budischowsky's Korriphila 701 is a much better choice in double action autopistols.

If you could have only one .38 / 357...

Notwithstanding the acuity of your mind's eye, the use of rollers in the trigger actions of Korth and Manurhin MR73 revolvers has nothing to do with any roller-locked autopistol actions. As for spending more time and money during manufacture, the limiting factor is the quality of materials...

If you could have only one .38 / 357...

Pythons are for pikers. Mikhail Nestruev's 2007 centerfire pistol world record of 594/600 achieved with a Nagant-based TOZ-49 still stands.

Looking down the barrel when examining revolver

All revolvers allow for some radial movement at lockup, unless their design includes a second stage lockup. The classic example of the latter is the Colt V-spring action with its "Bank Vault Lockup", a licensed derivative of the Schmidt Galand patents. The gas sealed Nagant action goes even...

    Question about a Manurhin

There exist Manurhin revolvers with matte blue finish, e.g. the Convertible and late production Silhouette and Match variants. In regard of more common variants, anything is possible, beginning with factory-commissioned engraving with gold inlay. An aftermarket refinish on a police or private...
