I havn’t tried Monarch but Rio branded 20 gauge 1 buck 9 pellet patterns better (about 0.75”-1” wide per yard of distance) than 3 or 4 buck in my 870 and penetrates better. 1 buck stacks 3 pellets per layer in this loading.

As mentioned earlier the main drawback to using a bullpup indoors is the inability to use it from both shoulders without eating brass. When you pie a corner you lead with the weapon, not your support shoulder. The Keltec bullpups address this downfall. The forward ejecting RFB .308 is too much...

@N555 by any chance were those broken bolts being used on a piston/op rod gas system? Those are notoriously harder on bolts than a regular direct impingement system.
