I love my M1 Carbine. It's amazingly light and handy. A joy to plink with. Ammo price is not that bad (Georgia Arms). I can even get them sent to my door with my C&R. My only problem is they are getting to darn expensive, otherwise I'd have more than one. :evil:

Funny... I just ordered 1,000 rds. of worthless .30 carbine, and they actually charged me money for it. I think I got scammed. :rolleyes:

Could anyone direct me to sites with info regarding penetration, specifically against steel plate targets. I'd like to know what Ball and AP rounds can do at given distances.
