All one needs is the Semi-auto endorsement. It is a one-time thing. Once the endorsement is on the permit, a semi-auto rifle can be purchased without further permit paperwork. Of course, the normal (4473 ) must be filled out and the NICS check done.

I leave the primer in place. I make a 180 gr lead tip round nose bullet. They shoot pretty good so far. I haven't had a chance to do any long-distance shooting with them.

I make 30 caliber bullets out of 5.7x28 brass.

I've used primers from the fifties without a problem. Powder from the eighties no problem.

I put a couple of capfuls of mineral spirits in my tumbler. The brass comes out clean and shiny.

I had the same problem with my 650. Got the timing where it needed to be. Nary a problem since.

Can you point me to an online source where the restriction on live ammo is made clear? I thought the restriction had not taken effect because offailure to develop the database required by the law. As a former NY state resident with family that still lives there, I'm interested Google New York...

Legal to ship yo NY. I am a dealer in NY. Loaded ammo is restricted not components.

If you are using UPS or Fed Ex, you need to go to a terminal not a store. The stores are not allowed to ship firearms.

308 or 300 Savage I have both, I reload. 308 ammo will be less expensive than 300 Savage ammo. That being said, keep the 308. My $.02 worth.
