Thanks all for the information. The cylinder is the 357 mag with the counterbore for the case rims. I pulled the stocks back off this morning and they are not serialized. I do think it will look better with a 4 inch barrel. Maybe I can run across one for a decent price.

Yeah I have a high dollar front sight staking tool at work. But we only stock the carbon steel front sights. I can do the work no problem just need the sight.
