Shooting in NE Ohio? Need help too.

Not sure how close/far from Eastlake you are but, there used to be a decent gun shop with an indoor range either on Lakeshore or Vine. Been a number of years since I used to live in South Euclid and my streets may be a bit off but, that's where I to go to if I was wanting indoor, out of the cold...

Recommend a gun belt under $40

My latest belt is an Ariat I picked up at a Cavender's out in Midland for about $50 I think. Been wearing it daily going on two years without a problem. My carry is OWB normally, and varies from a CZ83 to a full size 1911. My previous belt was a dbl. thick backyard one off custom last still...

    Hornady Ammo

IF I remember right, Critical Defense line of ammo is not +p at all. Some of their products are but, I don't believe the Critical Defense, or Critical Duty are. I've been mistaken before though

    My first S&W

Not too shabby at all. :-) When you DO get another, be sure to put it in the opposite side of the safe as thisn'. Like rc said, they do tend to breed a bit. and then you'll be buying another safe, Then another house for the next safe, and...

Selling my Colt Government 380 stainless for a J-frame: to do or not to do?

Were it me, I'd keep the Colt Government .380 and start saving pennies for the next one. I've sold a pistol or revolver here and there. And whether it was for financial necessity or for other "toys", Ive regretted most of them. In particular was when I sold my EMP .40 for a move to job that...

Which of the following bother you most about on-line gun sellers?

I've made purchases of firearms from budgunshop.com and cdnn and didn't have a Real complaint about either. Other than having to pay Texas sales tax to CDNN. But even with the tax and 3 percent upcharge for cc purchases and 20 dollar or so transfer fee, I still received exactly what I was...

    Any class advice?

A basic handgun course is almost always going teach you something and they are normally at a reasonable price.

    Another rattle snake encounter!

Though I'm not a snake liking type person, I do appreciate the job they do overall. With that said, My most recent interaction with a rattler ended up with him(?) being nothing much more than buzzard bait. I will even walk quite a ways out the way for a snake and leave them wholly undisturbed...

Probably asked multiple times.. Ruger SR9c opinions ?

These two links are from Budsgunshop.com and are very close to the CTD price. You wait a month or so for the next gun show and see if you can get a better price. Prob'ly not. But ya never know. Two tone...

Probably asked multiple times.. Ruger SR9c opinions ?

I have the SR9 FS and have nothing but good to say about it. Used it to qualify for my CHL down here in Texas and only had two flyers with it. Once when my "neighbors" empty brass caught me in the face, and another when I had a sneak up sneeze. I've got well over 2500 rounds down the pipe and...

Has anybody tried Federal 9mm Aluminum Case Ammo

Another glad you asked. I just picked up (3) boxes of the 9mm for 9.97 a box+-. I'll try it out in the M&P and Ruger in a couple weeks. Even if it is aluminum casing, for less than 10 bucks a box, why not try it.

OH NO! Not another "what should I get" thread!

If it has what you want, I'd say that is very reasonable. I have a full size SR9 and love it. Ergonomics, accuracy, ease of use are all there. As well as a great trigger.
