Where did you get, or what mold did you cast, the projectiles? I have been searching all over and get conflicting info. Seems the Lee mold and pot would be the best. Also, in measuring the bore of the 20ga, a .500 cast bullet for the S&W .500 Mag just may work as well using a shot cup.

Don't know, but that could be a first deer kill for the Howdah, by anyone.
I have to wait a while for the weather to clear & warm a bit before shooting mine.
ALSO, I was given some #11 caps and they seem to fit just fine. The cast bullets for the .500 S&W seem to fit well enough with shot...
I just bought one yesterday, 21-Dec-09, listed for $382.49 -$70.00 promo card ended up paying $312.49.
It has the 'swing' rod and I think it looks neat. Don't plan to use it, will be getting a wood ram rod for actual use.

Have read a couple old posts regarding the Howdah pistol but have found nothing regarding the precussion cap size to use. Is it 10 or 11 or? What brand would be best? I will be using Pyrodex R until I use up the 2 cans. (Originally purchased for Trapdoor, Sharps, RB, High Wall, .45-70 / 90...
Where would be the best price on the Howdah? I am thinking Cabela's, since I have their card, and it ain't maxed out yet, YET!!!!
