    Buggin' Out Rimfire Match:

Very good shooting anyway, Gregaw. And nice workmanship! Many thanks, Maverick, for conducting these matches! I know you're extremely busy and yet still find time to run these matches for everyone. Your efforts are very much appreciated!

    March Rimfire Match:

Thanks, I lucked out and had near perfect shooting conditions that day. Went for the small circles between small puffs of wind. Usually when you get a day off, it's gusting 30+. Gotta work today, so of course it's almost calm out there.

    March Rimfire Match:

Nice shooting this month, everyone. Good target choice, Maverick. Haven't had time to go to the rifle range lately, but most of our snow melted recently, so I can shoot on my own property again. (I wanted to try this target in the Centerfire Match with my mauser but I haven't had time)...

What do people do with nice .22 LR Rifles?

^^At first glance I thought it was a 54 SuperMatch but the bolt handle is too far forward. I figured out what it is, but I ain't tellin.:D Nice rifle. 2/22/12 edit: (Just for the record, I thought it was a 37 too).

    Suport Starbucks on Feb. 14th

Thanks for spreading the word about this boycott. I stopped at Starbucks twice today and got some of their dark roast .... good stuff. Much better than the shoe polish I brew at home.

    December Rimfire Match:

In January it's rare to get decent weather on those days when you have time to shoot. I'm sure participation will pick up as the weather improves. Spring isn't too far off.

    December Rimfire Match:

Excellent, Mav. Those little circles near the top aren't much bigger than the bullet. I found a Marlin XT-22VR at Cabelas a few weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to shoot it from a bench yet. Hope to try it in the Rimfire Match sometime soon.

    Suport Starbucks on Feb. 14th

I drive by a Starbucks frequently, but I've never stopped and tried their coffee. This is a good excuse to check it out. I'll be there on the 14th!

Good .30-06 hunting scope for $250 or less?- Suggestions?

FWIW,,, I recently got my 3 x 9 3200 Elite back from Bushnell. Since I previously mentioned that I'd had a problem with it not holding adjustment, I thought I would put in a good word for their excellent customer service. They were helpful and courteous on the phone and repaired my scope...

    Decent rimfire target scope?

I just got a Marlin XT-22VR and I put my 4-12 Nikon Prostaff on it. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I think it's going to work well. It will focus at very close ranges, and the multiple elevation markings on the BDC reticle should be useful considering the substantial drop you...

The Most Versatile Rifle Cartridge For Anywhere (Everywhere) In North America Is...

I knew you were going to say that. :D If I could only have one rifle, I wouldn't be too disappointed if it was a 30-06.

The Most Versatile Rifle Cartridge For Anywhere (Everywhere) In North America Is...

Ok. The 06 might be the most versatile. But I think my 7 Mag is more perseverant.

The Most Versatile Rifle Cartridge For Anywhere (Everywhere) In North America Is...

I didn't see a question in the opening post, but....... If, by versatile, you mean more bullet weight options, then you're probably right. But something a little faster, with a flatter trajectory might reduce the margin of error in estimating drop, and retain more energy at longer ranges...

What do people do with nice .22 LR Rifles?

I use my Anschutz for offhand shooting practice, and for 50' indoor matches during the winter. But most importantly, for the Rimfire Match here at THR!!!
