    Thoughts on Taurus Slim

    mine started having FTE's after around 600 rounds. the slide/ejector gets dirty so fast or it could be my wrist. didn't want to play around with it. traded it in. gun's not for me. but alot of people love it.

    did anybody say rossi???? this one is a 1996 rossi M971 VRC 4 inch .357 mag. it's my camping/ranch carry gun. runs great!!!! this time it's loaded with CCI 38/357 mag shotshells...... critters,snakes,& varmints beware.......

    ^^^^^^ nope! it doesn't work as a flash suppressor because it's a door "breacher". i admit it's more for the looks...... lol. but believe me brother with those sharp teeth, it can easily go through a skull. ( that's if BG is not down after 6 rounds of 000BK)

    Why Not 22 Mag.?

    remember guys, A 22 in your pocket or hip is far more effective than a 45 in your gun safe. as archangel said any gun is better than no gun at all.

    ^^^^^^ syempre!!!! armscor are philippine made guns. good guns for a decent price. back home in the philippines i owned a 1911, but never came across a 38 snubbie. so i can only speak for 1911's. @ that time, i could only afford cheap reloaded ammo. The 1911 performed great even with crappy ammo.

    Can a glock be converted this easily?

    prof, i have the G23 w/ 9mm lone wolf conversion barrel. drop it in and it's good to go. make sure you use a 9mm mag. also i bought a stainless steel recoil spring. (for about $24) no hiccups so far.... it's nice at the range shooting cheap 9mm ammo. but i wouldn't use it for ccw...
