Same sight that some of the Mossberg turkey models come with mounted to the gun out of the box. The optic ready models have cuts in the receiver that allow for Shield RMSc pattern optics to mount direct, putting them nice and low.

I went for the 22” because that’s the one I could find, and I wanted it for this spring. Holosun 407k is mounted. I’m looking forward to taking it out to see how she patterns.

My home defense rifle is a 9” suppressed 300 BLK loaded with Barnes Tac-TX 110gr supers. Certainly louder than subs, but with the can still much easier on the ears than anything unsuppressed, and that cartridge is devastating out to at least 200 yards or so.

Reliability upgrades include forged extractor, heavier carrier dog spring, and heavier mag spring and follower. Other upgrades some consider essential, although not necessarily reliability related, include oversized safety button, magazine tube extension, sidesaddle, and better sight(s).

The first sign of the problem should have been the “Kel-Tec” lettering on the side…. In all seriousness, it’s a good point. Cleaning offers oppurtunity for inspection, which is sometimes more important than the cleaning itself.

Hoppes #9 is a solvent, not a corrosion preventer. Plus, OP asked about odorless…. Slip 2000 regular or EWL would be my choice.
