Well, I'm a certifiable gun nut and have loaded guns
all over the house. Kids are never in my house. My go
to guns are both Mossbergs and are loaded with
Brenneke slugs. I don't want to have to shoot something
more than a couple of times to end the threat. I live in a
daylight basement so...

The overall length of an AR15 pistol and a folding stock
AK is similar. I have both and the AK is superior to the
AR15, except for weight. And carrying it in a truck makes
the weight a non issue.
I haven't lived there for many years, but I don't think
you can have a firearm with you when bow hunting.

I'm 70. So between the age thing, disparity of force
and Alaska castle doctrine, I would have done the
two to the chest one to the head. I would rather have
to pay for a lawyer than my family having to be doing
a funeral.
