    I think part of the problem is that the OP is in OZ(as in Australia) and the warranty is being handled through the Australian distributor not the parent company in the US.I have a Big Sky 2 that I really like. No issues so far.

    Wrong Bore for SURE !!!

    One thing to consider is engraving the fore stock on the left side.Some nice script to match the factory marking on the barrel but with the caliber in script at least 3/4" tall

    Ohh... I should have been more precise. I meant on the top of the sight base forward of the rear sight. You would want to remove the entire rear sight in order to stamp it.Not a lot of room but enough to mark it in small numbers.
