    Sigma Pistol

My buddy owns one and I just shot it again today. It hasn't jammed, and the grip is decent for both our hands, plus for $300 new it's an unbeatable value. I hate the trigger though, and the gun definitely 'feels' like Smith and Wesson's bottom shelf offering...I bought a 4.25 M&P Pro Series a...

    Future AK pricing?

Obviously no one here has a crystal ball to know exactly what's going to happen in the future, but I am wanting to purchase an AK (most likely an Arsenal SGL21), and could use some knowledge on what the pricing trend has been in the last few years and where you guys think it will go in the next...

Issue w/ my scope on my .17

I went to finally sight in a 17 hmr that I won a while back, and it has a (Simmons?) 3-9 power scope on it that I had laying around (it came as a scope package with a Savage 16). I mounted the scope just fine using Weaver quick detachable rings, but when sighting the rifle in I turned the dials...

    Ruger 10/22 and misfires

Are you using stock magazines or aftermarket hi capacity ones? I also use bulk Federal; with the stock magazine it runs great but with hi cap mags it usually jams at least once or twice every 25 rounds. Though I take that as the magazine's fault and not the gun's.

    FNX-9 or P99

No experience with the p99 but I just bought an FNP 9 as my first 9mm which is very similar to the FNX, and can tell you it's a great gun that really has that quality 'feel' when you hold it.

    Can't get 22/45 barrel/receiver off frame

Yes; bolt is out and whacking the rear of the gun. Thanks for your reply

    FNH FNP vs. FNX

It seems they did and that the issue was only with earlier models. I was just comparing the two and ended up getting an FNP but only because I found a good deal on a used one. I still would have preferred the FNX.

    FNH FNP vs. FNX

Also, FNX has a safety/decocker rather than just decocker.

    Can't get 22/45 barrel/receiver off frame

I've had a MK III 22/45 for several months but have not taken it all the way apart. It's had a few thousand rounds through it now and I'm trying to get the barrel/receiver off to clean it. I've been whacking it with a rubber mallet but it just won't budge. Any ideas for what I can do?

    FNX-9 for my next gun?

An update; I went to the gun store yesterday to see what I'd get for an old shotgun of mine, and he gave me a deal on an FNP-9; $320 out the door for a used one in great condition. I love it so far! It feels amazing in my hand and just really seems like a quality gun. I plan on shooting the heck...

Help me with getting a shotgun

My first gun was a used 500 with wood furniture. It was around $190. There's not a lot that goes wrong with either of those guns so don't be afraid to buy used as long as it looks like it's in good shape and cycles well.

    FNX-9 for my next gun?

Thanks for your feedback. Also, I understand that the stainless and black slides are both made of stainless steel, but will there be any difference in one being more resistant to scratches, rust, holster wear, etc.?

    FNX-9 for my next gun?

I've had my first pistol, a 22/45, for several months now and am ready to purchase a 9mm handgun (now that my trigger finger can be satisfied with cheap .22 ammo :D). It will be mostly a range and home defense gun, but I would like to be able to conceal carry it as well in the winter (eventually...

My brother needs advice: best 9mm brands $300-450(ish)?

My buddy just bought a Sigma for $300 new, and it is a pretty decent gun to shoot. It's really just a knockoff glock, but it has a very comfortable grip and was accurate enough. For a budget gun I'd say it's a good place to start.

    Bodyguard or LCP?

I was just looking at both side by side the other day and I would go with the LCP. I really like the Bodyguard, but the laser is not easy to activate, especially in a self defense type of scenario. Also, if you like the idea of keeping the safety of the Bodyguard engaged when carrying, you...
