    The Army's new "Green" Ammo

Out perform it in what way? Muzzle Velocity from point blank range or somethin? I highly doubt that's true. If it is, I guess they should just use 5.56 to snipe too. Since it out performs 7.62, why not? It might save the Government some money. Sounds like a lot of hoopblah if you...

Kel-Tec PMR-30 or Taurus Judge For Fun

I read that they're expanding their factory, due to demand. Hopefully, the wait will be shortened soon. Also, I forgot about using the Judge for snakes. Here in TN, we have plenty of snakes, poisonous and non poisonous, so that is one perk of getting the Judge. Also, I don't have reloading...

Kel-Tec PMR-30 or Taurus Judge For Fun

I'm wanting a handgun for fun. Something that's a blast to shoot, and can be used to challenge myself. The only thing similar about these two is they're both handguns, and both cost about the same. The Kel-Tec is interesting and different, but it has limited potential for fun, IMO. The Taurus...

Savage mkii tr tactical rifle in 22 lr

I have one! It's very accurate. I put a Nikon 4-12x40mm Prostaff on it. The only bad thing about is that it's very heavy. It weighs about 10 pounds. It's hard to keep it steady when shooting off hand, but everything else is pretty good.

    Ruger MKIII Scope?

I'm trying to decide on a scope for a MKIII. It will mostly be used for plinking, rabbit and squirrel hunting. I might do some silhouette with it later on. I'm having trouble deciding between a open-style red dot or a telescopic. The telescopic would be a Nikon Encore EER 2x20mm. The red-dot...

    ruger .22 pistols

I'd go for the Used MKII. All metal frame for $30, plus the ability to swap out the grips, if you'd like. It doesn't have what Ruger's lawyers call "improvements." The LCI affects reliability, and is a pain to clean.

    ruger .22 pistols

I would go with a new MKIII for availability reasons, plus it's all metal. Even with all the safety features that are pointless, IMO. Also, head over to Rimfire Central and ask around. They have guides for everything, including ones to disable all those annoying safety features, and a member...

    Reloading on the Cheap?

I'll get that stuff when I need it. I'm starting off with hunting loads, and then target so the brass won't be used that much for a while.

    First Hunting Rifle: Part 2

I prefer the 1903 Civilian Design Mannlicher, it was a bit thicker towards the end, and the stock was straighter. You'll notice the CZ is thinner towards the end, and the stock is curved more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mannlicher-Schoenauer_1903_drawing.svg Also, who makes a good...

    First Hunting Rifle: Part 2

Down to 20" And 35 Whelen, because it is cheaper to have a barrel shortened, than it is to buy a FiberGlass stock. I'm not a huge fan of that style of stock, that the FS has.

    Reloading on the Cheap?

That be the next thing on I'd buy. That way I'll be able to load up hot loads ,after I gain some experience, for hunting season.

    First Hunting Rifle: Part 2

After much thought, I have decided to get a .308 as my First Hunting Rifle. Now, I need to decide on the Brand and Model. I'm trying to decide between the Tikka T3 Hunter and the CZ 550 American. I'm planning on having Iron Sights installed on the gun, no matter which one is chosen.. I might...

    .22 bolt guns

I have a Savage MKII TR. It's an amazing rifle! I had a .25 inch group at 60 yards using a tree branch as a shooting rest. It was a very windy day, and was shooting between 2 Vs of some trees. I was using Federal Gold Eagle 38gr. Hollow Points. It's a great gun for what you pay, possibly one of...
