I know these aren't exactly firearm related but I'm partial to a few neat places. In Colorado there's Garden of the Gods and Royal Gorge. Of course Yellowstone and Devils Tower in Wyoming. The Redwoods in California. Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. Meteor Crater and the Grand Canyon in Arizona...
Well, if the time comes for me to pull the trigger, I won't be shooting to wound. I'll shoot till the threat is ended. Then I'll call the cops and they can deal with what's left of the threat.
Well you could take the BCG out and shake the upper and see if you hear noise then shake the BCG. Chances are you will hear at least a little clicking in any AR as the bolt carrier does need to be able to move in the receiver and with the upper receiver off there's nothing that will hold the BCG...
Depends on the teen. One of my step sons who is 14 I would trust implicitly. In fact he has his own .22 rifle that used to hang in a rack in his bedroom, until his older brother moved in. His older brother who is 16 I wouldn't trust with a BB gun. It's all based on behavior.
No more or less acceptable than the ads I've seen with macho men, men trying to be all SpecOp or what have you. I am not personally offended or even influenced by seeing good looking women holding firearms. It might distract me for a moment as I peruse a magazine, but it certainly isn't going to...
It’s a little hard to “bootstrap” a retail business on $300. With my current services in my area I’m not quite pulling in enough to pay my office rent, let alone rent out a much larger and more expensive building and fill it with inventory. I live rural and all of my customers are of the poorer...
The auction house I work with for transfers wants to eventually partner up and effectively move in together, however knowing his personality and the fact that he's got the financing he would basically want to own my business and give me a tiny little cut. :banghead: I wouldn't mind pitching in...
Those numbers help some. I can figure out what my overhead will be without too much trouble. As far as inventory goes I plan on not just having firearms but also accessories and supplies. Everyone needs cleaning supplies and shooting supplies. They are inexpensive for the most part. Also...
I'll check out that site, thanks Rhino.
And like ants said, I'm just looking for the numbers. I've got an idea of expenses if I lease a particular property and I know roughly how much in inventory I want to start with. Most likely it will be just me till I can figure out how much I can make...
I was wondering if there are other small business owners that have gun stores with fewer than 5 employees and less than $30K in inventory that could help me with some financial feedback. I'm looking at expanding my business from just services to the retail sector for my town and one of the...
My neighbor's insurance company is going to replace his firearms, but no word yet if anyone has been arrested for it or if any firearms have been recovered.
I shoot both left and right, though I'm right handed. About the only thing I don't do with my left is write. I work most of my tools both left and right, including drills and hand saws. I find it much easier for me that if my work is stationary that I switch hands to get into different areas of...
I have the same post there as well as waguns.org and westernwashingtonfirearms.com. I was banned from seattleguns.net because of stupid BS from the first owner and they aren't reversing that so I've already asked people to post it there too. I've also listed them on Hotguns.com and I'm going to...
Anytime we get stuff in for our auction I always run the numbers through a couple of sites. I've listed the SNs on one site and need to buy an account at the other site so I can list them there. I'm sure pawn shops will run the numbers too.
For me, any Glock or Hi-Point. Not because they are bad guns, they aren't. I just don't like them. I don't like the way a Glock fits my hand or the grip angle. I don't like the feel or weight of the Hi-Point.
