Glock 23 with 13 rds of Gold Dot HP, riding high in a hip holster, Ruger LCP in back pocket staggered with FMJ & HP and as always my Gerber assited open pocket knife. LED flashlight on my keychain. During summer months it's usually just the LCP but hey, it IS better than a pointy stick!!

I'm looking at buying another sks (wish I never sold the one I paid $100 for). I am looking to set it up as a "combat" weapon with folding stock and all. My question is: Is there that much difference between the paratrooper 16" barrel and the standard 20" barrel? Obviously more barrel usually...

I prefer my Mossberg Cruiser with 8 rds of #4buckshot above all, but the pistol and rifle are always nearby. Overpenetration is an issue for me so its hard use anything but the shotty. But I think for a quick effortless HD weapon a good 357 revolver is ideal as well.
