rellascout If the firearm is replaced with one with the same serial number it can be sent directly to the owner, if it is replaced with one with a different serial number it must go through a FFL. Thats the law.

Are Steyr M-A1 pistols available anywhere?!

Try http://www.shopdunns.com/products/777/steyr_m_a1_pistol_great_price/ It's a shame the M9 never got the recognition it deserves. I highly recommend it and hope to pick up another before they totally dry up. Poke around at http://www.steyrclub.com/vb/index.php For more info about the M9.

    Glock 32 .357 system

I actually have not heard about OMB. I just received my certificate from GSSF a few weeks ago and OMB is still listed as a participating dealer. If OMB has stopped I'm sure the have several other dealers to pick up the slack for those with no local dealers. I'm lucky and have one several miles...

Sig 556 - the quest is over

They start at at $1320 at Bud's http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/36_397 I've been impressed with my 556. I know there has been a lot of negative said about them but mine is a well built soft shooting accurate carbine. I'll probably end up picking up a Classic also.

    The Ruger SR 556: Seriously?!?!

http://www.onpointfirearms.com/blog/2009/05/31/ruger-sr-556-for-sale/ $1368.04 I don't see these rifles sitting on the shelf for long at that price point. Ruger will sell plenty of these.

My New Savage Model 93R17 Classic T /w Mueller APV

The only thing I could think of is what ammo are you shooting? Have you tried different brands and weights? If not I would start there. I think that gun should shoot better groups. It shouldn't need any more break in and I would be careful not to "over clean". My Savage shoots fine with only...

    A couple of Garand questions

CMP If you really want a treat get your papers in order and take a road trip to the South Store in Anniston and pick one out for yourself. It would make a nice overnight trip, about 11 hour trip one way for you. You can pick up some ammo while you're there.

    Ruger AR-15

Yes that's what a bunch of gun nuts on the internet are saying but when these rifles end up in gun stores in every nook and cranny of the country potential buyers won't care about the MSRP, all that will matter is the price it would cost them to walk out the door with it. Does anyone actually...

    Looking at a 17 hmr

Yes, that's the idea. If there is even a little pressure on the barrel from the stock it can cause accuracy problems. Enjoy the rifle.

    Looking at a 17 hmr

Run a piece of paper between the stock and barrel to make sure the barrel is totally free floated. Lightly sand any spots that make contact. Then enjoy. Swing by http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php for tips on ammo and info on everything rimfire. Also be aware that if you have a...

    Looking at a 17 hmr

I have the same rifle as sbarkowski and can't recommended it enough. Also watch for sales on the .17HMR ammo. If you look around you can find it for $10-$11 for 50 rds. Even at regular prices it's not bad at all for accurate ammo that performs.
