I had a python for several years and hated it everytime I had to open it. Something un-natural about a "pull to open" system. My neglect until needed handgun is a KGP160 with night sights and compact grips. The Colt is an investment for the future.

You might want to offer a middle ground. I have several taurus wheel guns that function fine. Won't win target matches, but are absolutely reliable.

I'm reloading 45ACP with Bullseye. 4.5 grns under a 200grn rnfp from Grandmaster Bullets in Colorado. WLP primer. Shooting from a S&W 22-4 4 inch barrel revolver. first 6 rounds the average velocity was 612fps. :eek: SD was 26 ES was 46 for 6 rounds. Great SSR load but not much for ESR...
