I have a Kimber Ultra carry in 9mm and a RIA TCM and a 38super GI. The Kimber small as it is is a tack driver for me and can hit 6"plates at 30yds, no problems yet with anything I put through it. Have not shot the TCM much but I have the 38 super. Even with GI sights its as accurate as my...
I don't hunt much anymore so I am trying to educate myself on a few things. We have bear here in western NC, they have gotten in my truck, etc. They are not a real problem but I want to continue to hike in the woods so I'm considering carrying a 10mm. I was thinking of a Ruger revolver in 10mm...
OK, considering price, quality, etc I got a Vortex Venom for my G19. I also got a Black Arch holster for it, which is pricey but very nice! Thanks for all the info!
Well my Fast Fire III by Burris does not come on when moving it. It has a button on the side you press to turn it on and to adjust dots. I'll have to research which red dot may bhe better for everyday carry. Vortex has one that lasts 30,000 hours if kept on low. That may be an option.
I have a Burris Fast Fire on my M&P Core and it makes for much more accurate shooting at least for me. I have the start of cataracts and wear trifocals so the red dot is great. My question is does anyone use a red dot on their edc, how long do the batteries last if you keep it on? I have to turn...
I read where a few have cataracts. I was told that about 2 months ago so I'm sure that figures into not seeing the sights as well. Was told it would be years before getting them taken out, but for now I'm going to look at these suggestions and save my pennies for easier to see sights.
I have noticed (am 63) that the past few months, its getting harder to see the sights on some of my pistols. I am sure others are having the same problem....how are you dealing with it?? Glock OEM sights are not too bad, I rather like them. I have XS sights on a revolver and one semi-auto...
I was looking at some 1911 sites and came across Para. I see their site has not been updated in 3 years. Are they still in business? Buds Gun Shop has very few of their pistols for sale so I was wondering how they are doing. I have heard good and bad about their products....more bad than good.
Not surprised except for the fact a gun like this should run as well as my other lesser priced ones and as I stated...Handloads and Tula was all I had on hand at the time.
Well I gave it a good cleaning, will buy other ammo. Not sure about ogive...all I know one was 147gr the other 115gr. Have never dealt with ogive before. I looked it up but...
Somehow I think it might be beyond just breaking in. I've never had to use a rubber mallet on any other semi auto I had. I'm not going to struggle through 500 rds after going through this with 15 rds.
I just bought the Kimber Ultra Carry II. I fired some reloads and cheap Tula through it. I reload almost all my ammo and the Tula was $7.00 a box so I got some. Anyway I have not fired anything else through it but for the times I fired about 10 Tula and 5 reloads I had failures to go into...
I have been looking for Para pistols and Buds has one model, GB has a lot of used or new old stock and some other sites have none. Are they on their way out? If myself or anyone else buys a Para gun is there still customer support? I have never had one so I never had any experience with them...
I don't have any experience with 10mm, but I was reading where a fellow said he could shoot 40 S&W out of a 10mm gun. I know the 40 is a cut down 10mm but I didn't think you could shoot 40 out of a 10mm. Unless he is doing something stupid.
