    Help me pick my carbine

Between those two options I would probably go with the hi point in 45 caliber. Bigger entry hole. Too bad they don't have a 10mm carbine. I think 10mm would be a great pistol carbine caliber. But to stay on topic to your question both guns look great...Choice would be preference of caliber...

Range report with M1A and mak 90 at 200 yds

OK...follow up on the turkish military ammo! Took the M1a back to the range yesterday. :what: The center group if you want to call it that...was twenty rounds shot at 100 yds from prone position and sandbags shooting turkish ammo "American Tactical." I honestly thought I had broken a scope...

Range report with M1A and mak 90 at 200 yds

Okay, this is my first post after MANY years of lurking quietly and listening to people with much more experience than my own, but I had so much fun at the range today that I just had to share. Firstly, I have never shot at 200 yards before. My best (former marine) friend and I went to the...

    Air Gun Plinking

When I was little I would build model cars and airplanes...after the glue got old and falling apart I would "shoot the planes down" VERY FUN at 15. My brother and I used to shot a golf ball across our grassless back yard. First one to get the ball to the other end one...mind we had no one...

    Next step for M1A accuracy?

Thanks for the tip on the 4895. The barrel on my M1A loaded is a stainless NM. I believe it is a 1:12 twist. I have always loved the M1A. I just like how it feels but can't really say why. I had a synthetic stock 30-06 that shot sub MOA out of box that I just hated. Recoil was brutal...

    Next step for M1A accuracy?

Well, from the reading of the posts I have done I seem to have gotten lucky with my stock SAI (except for added cheek riser) M1A. I have had it for years but haven't put even 500 rds through it yet due to the duties of married and raising children. Finally I got some time recently to play...
