Not sure of the age, but all three are oct. barrels. Just found out that the forend does snap on. What do you use to get the pin out? Does it matter fom which side? Thanks
I just received a older model contender and I was wondering how to change the barrels. The only other contender that I have been around had a screw on the bottom of the foregrip that you had to take out to change the barrels. This one doesn't have a screw and I'm unsure how you take the...
Just like anything else there are good and bad with gun shows and shops. Get a idea of what you want and do a little research and you will be in a much better position to know when to buy. Personally I love to go to gun shows, but I do not always buy guns there. Looking can be alot of fun.
Just like to shoot what I own. Went to the range today. I stopped and picked up a shooting friend and when we got there I realized we had 8 rifles and 10 handguns between us. To somebody that doesn't shoot it would probably seem that we could have started our own war. We had a really good time...
I guess I'll be the bad guy here. Although right now all my guns are clean, when the weather is warmer I will go to the range a couple of times a week and then I'll put them away dirty for a little while. They do clean back up. The only exception is the Mosins and they use corrosive ammo so they...
Every time I think I'm close to being stocked up I go to the range and there it goes. I try to buy a few thousand rounds at the better shows, but it can go rather quick. I do find myself shooting alot more of .22 than .223 and 7.62x 39. I'm just glad the 7.62 x 54 hasn't gone up much...yet.
It does seem like that no matter what good or bad experiences you have somebody will dissagree. Makes it rough for someone to choose if they go by what they read. I'm going to get a new .45 at the funshow. Can't make up my mind so I'll hopefully know its the right one when I put my hands around it.
My brother inlaw used to be a gun distributor and when he would get a shipment of P3ATs in they would all be spoken for. They were always on back order. Usually just takes a little time. Right now it is probably like finding a Taurus 1911.
