    Arsenal Strike One Holsters Options?

Nothing necessarily wrong, not crazy about the soft back design of the StealthGear. And I'd be fine with either of the other two. Was just seeing if anyone knew of any others that I didn't know about to possibly take into consideration.

    Arsenal Strike One Holsters Options?

I know, kind of obscure, but just picked one up for cheap. Looking for both an IWB and OWB holster, kydex/polymer only. So far the only ones I have found are StealthGear, Black Rhino Concealment, and KT-Mech. As well as a few obscure European companies. Any others that anyone knows of that I am...

Buying a gun while out of state.

That was part of the equation I considered also. Per Iowa's state website, you are considered a permanent resident AFTER 90 days of residency, then I would be legally obligated to get an Iowa DL and stuff, but not before 90 days regardless if a have a mailing address in Iowa or not.

Buying a gun while out of state.

That's correct. I actually bought a used Noveske from a store in Texas about a year ago while we were there visiting family. "A person may only acquire a firearm within the person’s own State, except that he or she may purchase or otherwise acquire a rifle or shotgun, in person, at a licensee’s...

Buying a gun while out of state.

Been awhile since I posted. I live and maintain my permanent address in Alabama, but for the next 3 months will be living in Iowa for work. Not getting residency in Iowa or doing a change of address or anything, just renting an apartment for 3 months. My question, I know that I could go to any...

    A "Semi-Pleasant" Suprise - The Sar K2 45

So the other day I picked up a new-to-me. Sarsilmaz K2 45, (Sarsilmaz is the largest manufacturer of NATO spec firearms to the Turkish military) previously imported by EAA. Now I don't know all the exact details or history of this gun, nor do I really have the RAM left in my brain to learn it...

Need Help Deciding On 5 New Guns

Thanks everyone for the concern, but we are already good financially. House is paid for, and we finished paying off all student loans like 7 or 8 years ago so all we have is one car payment and utilities, easy enough. And this year I have taken the pistol 3 and close quarters carbine course with...

Need Help Deciding On 5 New Guns

So long story short, I just got back a pretty sizable settlement and the wife said I could buy any-(within reason) new guns I wanted. I already have all my bases covered; Handguns, Rifles, Shotguns etc. But I am trying to re-cover my bases. Definitely don't need any more hunting rifles or...

Looking for a new .45 Auto

Although RIA's have been hit or miss with some people, I have always had great luck with mine. A lot of features for the money. I bought a Ruger American in 45 right after they came out. It was great in terms of reliability, but I really did have the same problems a lot of others had. The top of...

10 mm shines again vs brownie

I've always said that my Glock 20 loaded up with some heavy hard cast loads from Buffalo Bore or Underwood would be my primary handgun used in bear country (as backup to my shotgun or rifle). Might have lost some toe's but at least he is still alive.

    Glock 30S vs 30SF

I carry my 30SF with me daily, and as much as I love it, I also have to say go with the 30S. My 30SF has been flawless, but my one complaint is that I shoot with my thumbs high and tight, which presses them right up against the slide serrations, and after alot of shooting it will start to...
