It is possible and has been done. If you go to www.hkpro.com and search you will find out everything you need to know to do it. Cheers

    Metric to caliber conversion

...and it depends whether you measure the bullet, the distance between the rifling grooves, or the distance between the rifling lands.

    STI AR 15's?

A friend of mine has one, it looks like a very nicely made rifle, I haven't shot it but it sure looks the part, has a JP trigger in it.

    automatically chambering the first round?

My HK USP, both my M&P40 and M&P9, and my 1911 do it, they are all new. I use them in IPSC and find it very convenient.

Which magnified optic for 3 gun?

For 3-gun a 1-4,6,8 depending on what you can afford seems to be the thing. The Trijicon TR-24, Meopta K-dot, Burris XTR-14, Vortex PST are all good for medium price. The fancy one's like the Swarovski and stuff are really good if you can afford them. In the cheaper range there are the Millett...

Gov't wants dealers to report sales of High-Powered rifles

"High Powered" is any firearm used for illegal purposes. You never see anyone in the news shot with a low powered rifle or an ordinary rifle, no sir, they are always high powered.

I think snappy is a reasonable description of the recoil of a 40 as opposed to that of a 45.

    Remington R-15

The R15 is made by Bushmaster and although marked .223 the chamber is 5.56, it says this on their website. Cheers

Navy tests "Rail Gun" in VA

Indeed, each year in our department the students build a rail gun and try to hit a target at the end of the lab. Not much to hide.

    Trijicon Accupoint for AR?

I have a TR24 on my Steyr AUG, I like it very much, but I think it depends on your intended purpose. It is very quick to acquire targets in 1X mode (like a red-dot) and can be pretty accurate 50 - 300m, maybe more if you have good eyes. Much more and you will have to dial if you want accuracy...

best out of the box squirrel gun

Whilst the Marlin Model 60 is a great rifle, most squirrels have small paws and have difficulty reaching the trigger.

What country would you move to with you firearms?

You can own an AK or any other Military style firearm in New Zealand, at least a semi-auto variety, or an auto version if the auto is disabled, you do need an endorsement on your license though. You can own but not shoot any auto firearm. You can own a handgun but they can only be shot at...
