    First one I ever shot was a RG 22, first one I bought was a 2-1/2" model 66 with a missing front sight insert. I made one from a plastic comb. J.B.

    What firearm (or bow) did you kill your first deer with?

    Marlin 30-30 around 1983. I was in a lean-to stand and the deer was directly under me. I had to actually step over the deer to get off the ladder. J.B.

    S&W 500 4in or 6in?

    I have a 4" and it shoots great. With my 440 grain hand loads a deer would be in trouble out to 60 yards, haven't shot it past there. J.B.

    I have a model P Jr. and the instructions say not to shoot +P ammo in it. I have always shot standard velocity SWC's. J.B.
