The 982 accepts all standard 870 stocks and forearms *did have to dremel the inside of the forearm to fit on mine*. The magazine tube will fit but any standard +2 is going to stick past the barrel on the hawk. I did find this http://www.riflestock.com/store/do/product/MXT/01-04-01 but traded my...
Personally I dont like the sling-shot mod on my gun as the slide release rattles around with nothing to hold it in place after you remove the spring and plunger. YMMV
+1 on the P-11
I will say though, after having the kel-tec for a couple years and firing/dry firing several thousand times, when I shoot my buddies revolver in DA it feels like its in SA to me.
I bought one a couple Xmas's ago and for the money they are a steal. My only complaint would be the rear sight has a tendency to slip off if you don't stake it. And to MoonPie, you can use a 870 barrel you just have to fashion a spacer out of PVC or some other tubing to fit between the barrel...
"25 straight minutes of me crying over all that wasted ammo." +1
Would have liked to see rimfire tested with that drop test but other then that good find.
I was thinking to use it more as a stand off device as you reload your shotgun. Wouldn't bother to use it for hunting my self but wouldn't mind it in there survival configuration.
Ran across a niftly little thing called the Zip.
Little .22 pistol that takes 10/22 magazines, but anyway they show it attached to the bottom rail on a scar(would put it on a shotgun myself) and was wondering if the Zip is registered as an SBR does it matter if its attached to a non NFA...
I got my 10/22 3 or 4 years ago and according to the internet  I am one of the few who never had a problem with the stock extractor. I will say that you definitely should get that volquertesen or Clark customs hammer (you can do the auto bolt release mod yourself and save a few bucks)...
Was looking into reloading some 00buck for my 12ga and couldn't find any cheap bags of buckshot or inexpensive lead ingots. I did find some cheap 7 1/2 bird shot and was wondering if I would need to worry about the leads hardness if its only being used for a buckshot mold (and maybe a slug mold)?
