    Kahr CM9 nightmare!

Thank the Lord, we live in America! I am grateful that we can all post our thoughts and opinions of various policies, products, etc. without fear of sanction. That is the premise the the internet was based on and fitting for a country such as ours. Historically, there has always been...

    Kahr CM9 nightmare!

CM9 is back from factory. Yes, after all the confusion and frustration, my CM9 made it's way back yesterday. Put 60 or 70 rds through it yesterday with no hiccups. I look forward to wringing it out some more today. After enough rounds w/o issue, I will put it into rotation for EDC. We...

    Kahr CM9 nightmare!

Update Kahr's Service Department left both an email and a phone message saying they were sorry for the problem and that it has been corrected. This guy actually sounded like he cares. Who knows, the jury is still out. At any rate, this is a step in the right direction.

    Kahr CM9 nightmare!

Pretty funny! Sig knucklehead! Do you seriously think that after I finally duped you into buying that pos from the pawn shop that I would buy it back? Just kidding. Someday, after everybody at Kahr is replaced by somebody who both knows what they are doing and gives a crap, I may buy...

    Kahr CM9 nightmare!

It is what it is. Kahr used to make some pretty good stuff. I wish I had gotten one of their earlier guns. At any rate, it is our responsibility as consumers to let others know when a product that previously had a good reputation takes a turn for the worse. Right now, I would not buy a...

Talk me out of a 1911

I can't think of a single reason? Get one! The 1911 is my favorite handgun. No matter what new stuff comes down the road, I always keep a 1911 handy even though I own several Glocks, Sigs, etc. If you are looking for a shooter, a range gun with a little nightstand duty, at the $700 mark, I...

    CCW- nano, Shield, Kahr, LC9

Wow, I would not get another Kahr! Just my opinion. DO NOT BUY A KAHR! They are some of the nicest looking, sweetest shooting guns with the smoothest trigger pulls out there WHEN THEY WORK! Go to KahrTalk, or for that matter, any gun forum and do a search on Kahr's, especially the CM9 and...

Kahr CW380: Second Range Trip - Gun going back to the factory

Hmmm, I'd think about it. Your problem is well documented and discussed over at KahrTalk. My own personal CM9 is at the factory for broken followers and premature slide lock. (I have another post here documenting that nightmare.) Customer Service at Kahr is different than what you might...

    Kahr CM9 nightmare!

I thought I would post this here so that those of you who are considering purchasing a new Kahr pistol could see what you may be in for. First, let me give you a bit of background. I'm a 60 year old LEO. The proud owned of waaay more guns than anybody needs. Been shooting since I was ten...

    Novice brass question?

7mm-08 brass I pretty much do what has already been mentioned. I load for many different types of rifles so I use different levels of scrutiny for different applications. Some rifles I only use for basic target and hunting applications and really all I do with new brass is put them...

    Question re: Gen 4 Glocks

Glock Gen 4 I purchased a Glock Gen 4 last week. I have owned at least two dozen Glocks in the last twenty years. Each of them were great guns! As has already been stated, the new recoil spring definately makes a difference. I also prefer the SF version of Glock pistols. The Gen 4's...

    PM9 pocket carry

Pocket carry for PM and CM9 The decision to carry a concealed firearm requires quite a bit of planning and consideration. Once, after due diligence and research, you have decided on the smallest caliber you are prepared to carry as insurance, you can go shopping for the gun. The gun has to...

    Accurizing Remington 1911 R1

1911 work Not having shot the Remington, I cannot speak to the handling and shooting aspects of it. I did pick several up at various shops and it looks and feels very well made. The trigger is on par with all but the custom shop guns. Aside from Les Baer, Wilson, etc., most 1911's out of...

    Glock 29 mag extension

Wolf spring Yeah, I thought about that and I may still do that at some point. I had already shot close to 300 rds playing around with this test. I decided that at least for now, I wanted to have a couple of mags that not only provided me an adequate grip but also mimicked the factory spring...

    Glock 29 mag extension

What do u mean-which part? Pick one! In person, I could go into more detail but the point that I was trying to make is that the Sig 226 is shaped to where it feels natural and pleasing in my hand.
