Red dots on a Hi power?

I've often wondered the same thing. I own two FEG HP clones so I, for one, would be interested as to how this works out for you. I don't know anyone who does mill the slide on a HP. As 1KPerDay says the dovetail mount could work. Please let us know how it turns out.

If you could only own ONE, MODERN, CENTERFIRE HANDGUN, which one, and why?

Decisions, decisions... Like hso said- Browning Hi-Power, I LOVE mine. Or am I in the 4" .357 camp? I LOVE my S&W Mod. 65 also. The merits of both pistols and revolvers always makes for a lively debate. That being said, for me, there's something about 13+1 that is very comforting. BROWNING!!:D

    Goodbye to a friend

Hello all, You do not know me and I am sure this post is against the rules. My name is Yvonne and I have been Byron’s “sister of the heart” for 40 years. When I first met Byron we became inseparable for the first 4 years of our relationship. If you saw one of us, you saw both of us. I write...

    Goodbye to a friend

Byron was one of my best friends. I met him in 1974. He introduced me to TFL and THR and the great community here. He will truly be missed. Great job, John. Sadly, Doug

    .410 ga handgun

Greetings all, I recently had a friend ask about a .410 ga. handgun. I have heard of them but I don't know much. He is looking to buy one as a "yard" gun for snakes and varmints. Anyone with information about them or experience with them? Any help is appreciated. Best, Doug

    Correcting grammar, spelling in posts

I used to spend a great deal of time editing before I submitted my posts. But I bought a brand new Browning 20 Ga over/under Webmaster with hand tooled spellcheckering on the fore end and grip. Now it's as easy as point and click... I mean shoot.:neener: Doug

    Need versus Want In America

Plumber576, you made your case with a great analogy. Your friend's mind is not completely closed to RKBA. If the topic comes up again maybe you could tell him that you hope and pray that the NEED never arises, but if it does you WANT the best equipment and tools available in order to do the...

Which of these guns is best?

I have owned a Mossberg 500 and I currently own a Win. 1300 12 Ga. I really like the speed release on the Winchester(curiously, no one else mentioned this feature yet). It's great for follow-up shots. Just hold the trigger down and keep pumping. It does take some practice, but not a lot to get...
