My silliest gun I can't even fire due to ammo not being available. An early version of the Gyrojet in 13mm. There is no reason in the world why I should keep it, but it's a freaking rocket gun ;)

Ha. No problem getting it back into the US. I just declared it and showed my receipt for it. Of course that was pre 9/11.

I have one of the early year Gyrojets in 13mm. I have never shot it though. I found it at a little road side flea market in Honduras.

I never really understood how the launcher works. I assume the grenade is mounted to the launcher lug and pressure from a round fired from the rifle launches the grenade. Is there a special round or blank round for this?

At least that kid didn't know what he ran into. My 4 yr old son did the same thing to me in Wal-Mart. Only after the "thunk" came the loud announcement "Daaaad, I hit my head on your gun" That turned a few heads. :D :D
