I like it. It's accurate, realiable, but when I look at it, I'm not in love with it. I could toss it and just pick up another and never know the difference!

Okay, first thing that I needed to hear was 'documentary on Spike TV.' I mean for real. Dragon skin wouldn't work for the same reason that they ditched scale armor. And upward thrust into the little plates can defeat it.

I can consistently hit man-sized targets with my M68 out to 300 meters. But I do prefer the ACOG.

I sure didn't. I saw a photo of a rifle on the most recent Shotgun News (didn't buy it) and thought it was a folding-stock AR rifle. I must have (yeah, obviously! ;-)) misread. Sorry for the confusion!

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this excellent rifle and its time-proven iron sights. It's still extremely lethal, reliable, and accurate. Anyone think that the M1 Garand or the M14 is obsolete? M1903 even?

There are a lot of states that don't recognize a CCW being held by a non-resident; such as an Illionois resident holding a Utah or Florida license. Something else to check on.

That flat trigger looks goofy to me, but if it works better who cares? Why exactly does it work better? Less contact with the trigger finger, more finely-tuned trigger squeeze?
