    Lee Turret press

FYI: there is an adapter kit for the red Classic, that shortens the stroke - great for reloading just pistol ammo. I think mine is great !

    Flattened firing pin indention

Maybe the pic, those look like really poor cartridges: cracking around the edges, lumpy and bumpy, etc. Who made them?

Well this is frustrating... .308 not fitting in case gauge.

FYI: if I recall right, a 30.06 FL die can be used to squeeze down the base of a 308 case. Much like a SB die. Cheap ass redneck solution.

    CCI primers strike again...

FYI: my new colt anaconda was mis-firing in DA mode. Wolf and Win primers. 44Mag. Sent it back to colt, no obvious improvement. So I thought CCI were hard primers too, but they solved all my mis-fire issues.

"best" 308 dies to minimize runnout/maximize accuracy

Terminology: maybe I am wrong, but "trimming" a neck is used to make the case length consistent in all the rounds. Neck "turning" is using a tool (hand lathe) to make the neck thickness more consistent

    range bull defense

Florida FLA still has a huge investment in cattle. Big business. Before the fence laws and screw worm problems, they mainly ran free. And the cow hunters had to seek them out, round 'em up, and ship them off to Cuba, or maybe the Confederates, battling up north.

'What You Don't Know About Legal Machine Guns'.

Red, I can't see the tank - can you make it bigger ?!?!

Pull and redo all these rounds?

Redding body die will fix you right up.

is it true, or just myth?

I can't contain myself ... "I have from more than one source that if you render the bullet immovable, in a 1911, by whatever means, no damage will happen to the gun, when fired, and it will slowly bleed off the pressure." The way I heard it was: if you plug the barrel with Georgia red...

Too much bullet runout with a Forster Ultra seater?

Excellent point by Bart: where are your "rollers" on your measuring equipment? Where do you measure run-out??

Too much bullet runout with a Forster Ultra seater?

Fliers are always a bitch. But it sounds like runout is not the cause. Just because you can measure it, does not mean it is a problem on target. How bout neck tension? Operator error? Wind? Do you trim the meplats? Do you true the case heads? Polish inside the necks? A never ending battle ...

    Sticking Primers

How bout taking a case with no priners, and sliding the punch all the way down, and then tighten it.
  13. D

Taking the guess work out of A.O.L. measuring.

That tool does not measure cartridge OVERALL LENGTH. It measures base-to-ogive which is normally more important for accuracy

Ted Bundy's boot gun is for sale on Gunbroker.com. Would you want this?

Bundy was in court here in Suwannee Cnty, FL. I think any weapons he had are long gone, but I understand the county still has some ammo of his, in the evidence lockers.
