Interested in what you worked up with the be86, if you don't mind sharing. I've been trying a few different loads with it myself, seems like quality powder for sure, just not sold yet on charge size.
Federal HST and Gold Dots both have very proven track records, with a fair amount of research out there if you feel like spending the time reading it (which I would suggest, pending a lazy Sunday afternoon...). For me, it's standard pressure 147gr HST's, but 124 variety seem to be quite popular...
I really like the lower barrel of the cz, it makes the gun pretty easy to control and point well. The sig barrel seems strangely high, though I think you just need to shoot a gun to get used to it. I'm getting a sig soon and am actually thinking of transitioning to mostly sigs for handguns...
My 442 is great. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit it, but I was shooting a bit off yesterday. Using my kimber 1911 I kept shooting to the left... using my 442 I was shooting great (tighter groups out of a 442 compared to a 1911 makes me scratch my head). If you practice and do your part, these...
I shot a 220 and 226 for the first time a few weeks ago. Damn it, I need another handgun like I need another finger! The grips seemed a big big after shooting my CZ pcr and 1911, but boy did they shoot well. I am really hoping to add a 228/229 to my collection
How significantly dies your crane/yoke move? When locked up, I can wiggle my cylinder around, though when I hold the crane against the frame the wiggle goes away. Just wondering the appropriate amount of play in the cylinder.
There definitely are some pricey AR's out there, but you get a tool second to none. Personally, I can't afford those yet. Got myself an older S&W for $800 a few years back and made myself another carbine with a DSArms upper and ccmg lower for under $600 I believe. Both have been superb thus far
if you look at the gun on our left in the picture, between the foregrip and clamp that connects the barrel and the magazine tube, you can see something clamped on, I'm thinking that is what he's talking about.... but I think more pictures are required! :D They really are things of beauty aren't...
Ok hive, I've got a few questions for everyone. I recently acquired an H&K marked benelli m1 super90 (wish I could have found an m3 super90 but beggars can't be choosers right?) for a great price. Currently set up in the field configuration, std stock, std tube, 26" barrel.
I'm in the process...
I'm going to throw in a vote for the g23 and let add my 2 cents why.
First, if you're worried about heat and size being a huge pain in the ass then try looking at a S&W 642. It's not the most fun to shoot, but with some practice you can do some pretty darn amazing things with these little...
Glock 23 at 4-5 O o'clock and a 442 tagging along as well. Don't usually carry two but I went out of town and the evening dictated something smaller/larger
