I went out to the country this afternoon and shot some of my self defense mags which had been riding around in the gun for a couple years. They were Hornady TAP .40 S&W and I hate to practice with them because they are so expensive. They shot just fine but it got me thinking about just using...
I bought a box of DoubleTap in .40 for my GLOCK and recoil was noticeably more. After that box, I asked myself the same question and quit shooting it because I figured the extra 200 fps was not worth blowing up my gun for. It probably wouldn't blow up but I was worried about it. I'll stick to...
I always carry my GLOCK 23 IWB at about 7 or 8 o'clock considering that I am a lefty. My holster is a Galco, I believe it is their Summer Comfort model. I really have no problems concealing it that way even during the summer months. I carry always when in a state that allows it.
I just watched it. The rifle looks awesome but the host is still a moron. He buries the rifle in the sand and then says any other weapon might blow up. He says, "Don't try this at home." Then, the guy blows through a mag with no eye protection.
I'm no cop but I don't know why they would carry without one in the chamber. If there isn't one in the pipe, its just a paper weight. My concern is the fact that he willingly disarmed himself. Not a good thing to do IMHO.
I'll be spending my summer in Jackson, WY and I was wondering what the attitude is towards guns in that area. It seems like it would be a really liberal town/area.

I am going to the show this weekend in search of a Garand. I don't really want a collector's grade, just a shooter. What should one look for when looking at Garands? Anything specific?
I have a question about vertical grips. I tried to put a vertical grip on my rifle which has just factory M4 handguards and it seems too flemsy. I recently got newer, sturdier 4 railed handguards and the vertical grip still seems to try to separate the two peices when I grab the rifle. Will...
