Right...just odd as the reissue a few basic steps could be done to feed jhp. My old gi ria had no problems, and several springfield gi and milspecs were good to go as well. Only have a milspec, sold the colt and kept the one that can run any bullet profile I come across. The colt seemed better...

My two examples (original and reissue) would only feed 230 gr ball

It would just be super weird to make a big deal of updating the model 85....to the 856 BECAUSE of the sixth shot. That was their while gimmick. Basically same size as the 85 bit with an extra shot.

I had an 856...can you show me the page? I definitely don't remember that, and it would make no sense with a transfer bar. But I may have not read the manual, and who knows with taurus. Maybe it's generic revolver manual from when at some point they made an old school single action or something.

Wow, 1095 carbon and made in the USA! Can't beat that. Regretting that cold steel cutlass machete now...(1055 carbon, and apparently now made in China...)
