I'm not finding any once-fired 30-06 brass at the places I usually check (Brassmanbrass, top-brass). Has anyone seen any in stock anywhere? I'm going to pick up my first Garand in a few weeks and I have all the components on hand except for some brass.

Wait a minute.... I just re-read the original post and realized this guy WAS in VA (I was thinking NC). The VA law I linked to above explicitly says CHL is OK in a National Forest (see section G). So, VA says its ok but conflicts with the Federal law? If so, we need to get handguncarry.us...

I've found that a very good learner's pistol for women is a Buckmark with a Tactical Solutions lightweight barrel. This combo is very light and my girlfriend was able to shoot it all day without fatigue. My standard Buckmark or Mark III with bull barrels got to her after a while.
