I often noticed the flat meplat of the .40 fmj and have discussed it with my dad. If forced to use FMJ it would definitely be better than round nose.

They are fairly decent in guns. Sometimes have some ammo, etc. They also have a decent little knife department. I've bought mostly ammo and knives from them. My dad has purchased guns from them. I like UT better than Bass Pro but not as good as the old Cabelas.

I carry a Glock 43 99% of the time. Blackhawk Pocket holster sometimes and Gould and Goodrich yaqui strong side sometimes. Draw is a tick slower from pocket but both are sub 2 second draws. Either pocket or belt is a very comfortable carry and the gun is reliable.

If I shoot any amount, I clean it.

Interesting thought for anyone who clips their keys to a belt or belt loop. A guy I work with does this. I can always hear him coming a mile away. Jingle jingle. I always think, what if you need to be quiet? To this end i make sure nothing clanks or jingles when I walk. Just food for thought.

A the shop I frequent, and help out at from time to time, 9mm and 5.56 disappeared. There was still plenty of .40 and .380 a few days ago.

My dad has a .44 bulldog. Its great. If you want heft Ruger SP101 all day long. We have had like 3 of these. Rock solid. At the end of the world, there will be cockroaches, and Ruger Revolvers.

Hk USP series. This one i picked up used. never shot it at 50 yards but i bet its capable. Also i have a redhawk in 44 mag and a Sig 220 that i bet would do it.
