I was shooting my TC Strike the other day when a spent CCI brand primer refused to come out thus ending my day of shooting. I still cannot get it out. I could use some help and advise her folks. Please help.
I shoot a T/C Strike walnut stocked using 84.0 gr. by weight of BH 209 powder and a CCI 209 primer to propel a Harvester 300 grain PT gold bullet with their black crushed rib sabot using a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 scope. It is a solid 200-yard shooter and if I had a conveniently located range...
I used them. Shot at a deer at 125 yards. I already knew it was a long shot for what I had loaded. It went between the deer's legs and put a big divot in the ground. I got some good advice and switched to of BH 209 powder and a CCI 209 primer to propel a Harvester 300 grain PT gold bullet...

I shoot a TC Strike, with a Harvester 45 cal. 300 grain PT gold bullet and Harvester crushed rib sabot, propelled by 84.0 grains by weight of Blackhorn 209 muzzleloader powder, ignited by CCI 209 muzzleloader primer. Period. I can reach out 200 yards with tight consistent patterns. Weather I...
I shoot a:
T/C Strike
84 gr. By weight of Blackhorn 209
CCI primer
Harvester 300 grain PT gold 45 cal.
Harvester crush rib sabots - 45/50 cal.
This combination is a solid 200 yard combination. I might claim longer yardage after I visit a longer than 200 yard range.

Jacketed with sabot. I am looking at the CVA .50 Caliber 295 Grain PowerBelt AeroTip Bullet, T/C Shockwave Bonded Core Bullets 300 gr., and the Harvester Muzzleloading Scorpion .50 Caliber Sabot 300 gr. bullets. UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT VERY FOND OF HOLLOW POINT BULLETS.
I that wasn't...
