Keep practicing. I need to start practicing more weak hand shooting as I eff'd up the other day and I have limited use of my good hand for a bit now.

I load a 180gr Hornady XTP with 10.5 grains of BlueDot. It has always taken down deer for me.

DoubleTap or Underwood would be a couple good choices. 180 or 200 grain.

R-15 is another good powder.

I have the guide gun 45-70 and I love it. I also own several model 94's and I love them as well. I have killed deer with both. I usually grab for one of my 94's when I go out for a ride through the pasture on the 4 wheeler though. Definitely worth having both if you can swing it though.

I have owned many of both rifles. I prefer the tube fed rifles so I would prefer a 60 over the 10/22. My personal preference is one of my Henry lever actions though. I do have a Ruger American that is threaded for a suppressor and I keep that combo of the back porch for squirrels and what ever...

Full size mp9 is what I carry. I used to carry one of my full size Dan Wesson 1911's.
