Does anyone think the reaction would have been different if it had been almost all ar-15s and ak-47s or other types of "evil assault weapons?" I would think that since they found some rather high powered items such as the automatics and explosives that it wouldn't have been much different.
I can't remember learning anywhere that a citizen had to talk to the police. OTOH, I was told that it would happen on a regular basis, and there is nothing the officer can do about it without some sort of justification. I also see no problem with the woman saying she was going to call to be sure...
How does everyone think she would do if she did run? I wonder if being a woman would drastically hurt her chances of winning. I'd have to say it would have some effect but I'm not sure how much.
I always think stories like that are very cool. Gives even more of a historic feel to the firearm, or the antique furniture, or whatever the little piece of history was found in.
