Lee Turret Press Users - Help Me Out Here

Here is the link to the Kempf kit that would be ideal for your needs. Comes with everything you need except a scale. Really nice people to deal with. Got mine from them 3 years ago and I still go back for dies and turrets when I get new toys to reload for.:)...

    Reloading SNAFU: Please Help

My Sierra, Lyman, and Speer books say your OK, although your at the upper end of the max load. Only my Hornady book says your over the max(23.2). I have gone as high as 25.2g. of H335 with good results but that was with Rem. 7 1/2 BR primers.

Recommend a Good Intro Turret or Progressive Press for Pistol Calibers

For some reason I can't show you the page with the kit. Must be me with internet illiteracy. Just go to the kits when you get to the Kempf's website. Sorry about that.

Recommend a Good Intro Turret or Progressive Press for Pistol Calibers

I have the Lee Classic Turret and reload 17 different calibers with it. Very satified with its performance. Just takes seconds to change from one caliber to the next. I got mine from...

    How does this happen?

True story: The last time I was at the range waiting in line to register a young guy and his friend in front of me asked the man behind the counter if he could use 9mm ammo in his friends 10mm Glock because it was cheaper and they were only 1mm apart in size:eek: We are in trouble guys. Big trouble!

    How does this happen?

The other day I was scavenging cases from my range and I found this 9mm when I was separating them at home. Is this what maybe happens when someone shoots a 9mm in say a 40 S&W gun? I couldn't think of any other scenario that could cause this. If I'm right there is some really goofy people out...

    In the beginning... saving.

I completely sympathize with your situation. I too went into this reloading to save on ammo purchasing. When I started I reloaded for 3 calibers, 10 mm, 9mm, and .223. Now 3 meager years later I reload for 15 different calibers and constantly looking for more. I admit I have become a reload...

.308 SMK 135g. HPBT load data?

FYI, here is the response I got from Sierra for load data on this bullet. Not exactly what I expected but it will help me get started. Hopefully this will help anyone else that may purchase this bullet. "Due to the demands of production we haven't been able to shoot any new data for many...

.308 SMK 135g. HPBT load data?

Thanks for the data MEHavey. I think I will start out with either RL-15 46.5g. or IMR 3031 42.0g. and go from there and see how they perform. Also, set the OAL as you stated to 2.695.

.308 SMK 135g. HPBT load data?

In the Hornady book they are talking about 130g. SP non BT bullets and the OAL is 2.690(which I definitely can't use for this long bullet) but some of the Max loads are: H4895 48.2g. RL-15 50.1g. H 322 44.0 IMR 4895 49.4 AA 2495 45.9 Win 748 52.6 BTW, I sent an e-mail to Sierra...
