I have a question. I read a while back that someone had an older Browning HiPower made in the early 1980s with the old style Adjustable sights. They had replaced the old rear adjustable sight with a Millett adjustable sight that was able to use the old front sight and the existing rear dovetail...
First I don't beleive that you need 2000 rounds of ammo for the two day class. Second to answer to is it worth it? Depends on your skill level and what you expect from the class. If it were me, any time I can spend time at the shooting range, the family is fine with it, and I might learn...
I heard this saying once. Wish I had thought of it.

"you can never have too many guns and the only time that you have to much ammo is when your house is on fire."

230gr FMJRN bullet, 4.5 grs of Bullseye powder, Winchester Large Pistol Primers, and an OAL of 1.260"
Good luck and keep burning powder!
I was just wondering if anyone has noticed that in the last, say five years the "grooves" are not as sharp as in the older Smith and Wesson Barrels. It does not seem to effect accuracy but the barrels are not the same. I purchsed a 686 a while back and noticed the same thing. Does anyone know...
Question, Does anyone use a product such as CLP Break Free to do the grunt work cleaning of their firearms rather than a product such as Hoppe's no.9? Also what has been your experience, just as good? almost as good? etc. How does it perform in cleaning out lead or copper?
Well after a great time at the firing range with my Hi-power today I thought that I would detail clean my Hi-power as it had not been done in a while. When I went to remove the firing pin the Firing Pin Retaining Plate came off in TWO parts instead of one! I thought, not a big deal I will order...
If one were to be in the market for a 9mm autoloader for CCW for say 10% of the time and use at the range for the other 90%. What would be your choice? The Classic Browning Hi-power, CZ, Beretta, Ruger, Sig, Others? Price Range $500 to $800.
