Yes, it seems to fit perfectly. It must be slightly too wide but it doesn't feel floppy at all. Also I have heard the horror stories of people pressing the release button and accidentally fingering the trigger on the draw. I don't think I'd use a serpa for a tactical class, but I do like it...
Hi... as a hunter who backpacks and hikes many miles I do really like the locking retention and light weight of the blackhawk serpa. YMMV. I also have a very classy simply rugged pancake for my revolvers. Its nice to have options.
Howdy... I bought one of those cool Blackhawk Serpa holsters for my 10mm glock 29. It is size 30. On a whim I tried it with my glock 19 and it seems to work flawlessly. Am I good to go with the 9mm too?
Cheers
This trick reduces pain in that exact spot for me... Lower your grip as far as possible while still being able to operate the trigger. Let the gun recoil up on its own rather than straight back into your hand. I learned this shooting snubbies but it helps anytime you feel the pain. Otherwise...
This high grip will cause pain! Yes that's good advice for 99% of all handgun shooting, but it doesn't work well for me with boot grips on a j frame. Try a low grip with your finger straight to the trigger. The muzzle will rise but the energy wont shock your hand. I learned this from big...
I mean to say that its not a carry gun, so I'm not concerned about having larger grips for shooting at the range.
The Ruger 9mm LCR has a bit of a reputation for bullet jump because 9mm rounds aren't crimped like revolver rounds. Appreantly the lighter loads are more reliable too. The gun is...
What are the largest, heaviest grips available for the LCR? I hope to improve reliability for Crimp Jump (ammo falling apart) by adding as much weight as possible to my 9mm LCR. This is a range gun only. I really wanted a 9mm SP-101, but they are unobtainable. I have a J-Frame with 10 oz...
Hi guys, sorry I haven't gotten any more info for you. My friend who owns the shotgun hasn't gotten around to sending me a better pic or telling me about the markings. Thanks for all your help, I'll research it more using all your info.
A friend of mine found this rusty double barrel beast in an old wall while remodeling his home! Can one of you geniuses help identify it or tell me about it?
Hi guys, I've got a nice 3lb trigger on my new model mini 14 and have been trying to get the best bench rest accuracy. I still struggle to get 3-4 inch groups at 50 yards. I've noticed that when I dryfire the scope picture bounces randomly left or right. I'm starting to think that maybe the...
Well folks, the plot has thickened. It turns out I have a Browning 3 Shot version, which I gather is somewhat rare. Thats why the barrel doesn't fit. Do you guys have any idea how valuable these things are? I'm planning on having the existing barrel professionally bored out to improved...
Hi folks,
I am trying to replace the old fix choked barrel on my classy (1930s?) Browning A5. The replacement barrel has a different size "lug" on the bottom. Both say Browning made in St Louis. It looks like if I file down the width slightly it may fit? The original is a 20 gauge 2 3/4...
Because I bought the g27 from a fella who had converted it to a 9mm barrel with a 9mm ejector. It's run a few hundred rounds of 9mm with no jams. Niether of us yet has fired a 40 through it. I'm more than just a data point, RC. :P
For the record , I have both ejectors (9mm- #336 and 40 - #1882 )on my third generation G 27. If you have 1000 rounds of both 40 and 9mm, which of the two ejectors is going to feed that both types ammo most reliably? I know the 40 is going to be more inherently reliable in a pistol chambered...
