i shoot CAS and i widened mine at home with a new file and all is good for me, just take your time doing it. i marked a line on both sides of the slot as to how far i needed to go so i knew when to stop

sounds like you need to slug your barrel to get the correct sized boolit. your getting leading because the boolit is to small for the bore. when using cast boolits it must be 1-2 thousanths bigger than the bore. other wise it just bounces down the barrel and causes leading.

my square deal b does not like the wolf primers. had to go back thru and hand seat the primers. i have hears and found out first hand that the cups on wolf primers are just a skoash larger than winchester or cci primers.
I'm useing TB in my 38 sp. derringer with a 92 gr. boolit. I'm down to 1.5 gr. and no issues yet. Thinking about trying to get it down to 1 gr. maybe less. I only use the derringer at CAS side matches.
dont rest your barrel on the wood contraption. By resting the barrel on your rest the barrel harmonics are changed. Get some actual sand bags, I made some out of old lead shot bags. Rest the fore arm on the sand bags, then you will find the true grouping of the rifle. You want NO weight on the...
