I have both 40 and 10mm. Don't CCW the 10mm because of over penetration, muzzle blast and recoil...... OK if I was hiking in the woods, I could see preferring the 10mm but otherwise 40 fits the bill.

I had a P380 that was not reliable. I did the recommended break in and returned it to the factory a couple times. They replaced it and not long after the replacement and break-in the 2nd P380 was reliably unreliable with various factory and hand loads. Could not cycle a full mag without FTF...

I had a P380. Had to go back to the factory couple times. Kahr replaced it and the replacement was a lemon. I really wanted it to work out because it's perfect for pocket carry but even with all the time I spent to "properly" breaking it in, it never cycled reliably. I would highly recommend...

A quick update. The Altamont grips work great to tame the recoil. Mid power magnum handloads were unpleasant with stock grip. I shot 60 of these loads yesterday and I am pleasantly surprised of the difference. Next will be testing some factory ammo and hotter handloads.

This thread got me thinking about running a variety of loads through my Officers acp. My range schedule has been updated accordingly.
